Sculpture Puzzle

Some clues- please read this first. (Location map follows this).

All the sculptures are in Dunedin city.

Using the map, the following should hopefully (!) help you identify the 10 sculptures on the puzzle, and help you get to know more about some of Dunedin’s public art

Two sculptures are located in public areas on the ground floor inside buildings (note access times below) and one is in a building entrance.

The simplest way to solve the puzzle would be to navigate to the sculptures using the map. Of course we’d like you to go and look afresh at the sculptures you already know.

Quite often the name plaques with the sculptures give the frustratingly barest details, so we have provided additional information on our website and with our sculpture trail booklets.

The puzzle sculptures are all featured in our sculpture trail booklets, (click on our website tab Publications) and these booklets will introduce you to more great sculptures.

Informative articles by Richard Dingwall about most of the sculptures appear on our website; click on Feature Items’ then select ‘In Site Library’. These articles give you a lot more of the story.
